woah, a 12 minute shutter speed, now thats long exposure. this is awesome, must have been a pretty still night if the windmill hasnt moved in 12 minutes.

Wow, all that on a digital rebel. I would have thougth the ccd would produce a lot of noise! I'm glad to see it didnt. Look great!

arin.. 300D uses a CMOS instead a CCD... and itīs larger than sensors on digitals compacts .. thatīs why thereīs not a lot of noise. ([link]) but with long exposure, digital cameras still show Dead Pixels (Hot pixels), which are pixels complete white or red, gree or blue..

I have the same camera as you and I've tryed to do smiliar stuff like this. But there is always a lot of noise and hot pixels. Do you have the same problem? and how do you deal with it?
